Lanus drop more points and All Boys win in Cordoba

Lanus boss Schelotto fealing the heat

Lanus boss Schelotto fealing the heat

Lanus‘s lull has continued as they have been held to a 1 – 1 draw at home to Atletico Rafaela. They remain unbeaten but now trail leaders Newell’s Old Boys by two points. A first half dominated by the hosts had only Carlos Izquierdoz’s 11th minute goal to show for their dominance before it was cancelled out just before the break by Jonathan Lopez.
Earlier, in the evening All Boys captured their first away win of 2013 with a 1 – 0 win in Cordoba against Belgrano. Ivan Borghello’s second half goal was enough to take the points.
REPORTS AND GOALS HERE…..

BELGRANO  0 – 1  ALL BOYS

A deserved win to break their away hoodoo in 2013.

LANUS  1 – 1  ATLETICO RAFAELA

The free flowing and goal scoring Lanus from the start of the campaign has gone missing and as the goals have dried up inevitably so have the results. Despite remaining unbeaten in the league this is another two points dropped and more importantly Newell’s have knocked them off the top.
