Fresh from winning the Torneo Final, Newell’s were then knocked out by Tallares De Cordoba, losing 1-0 away not that it was enough to diminish the celebrations. Boca Juniors nightmare season was completed with a 3-1 loss to All Boys which now leaves the forthcoming Torneo Inicial as their last chance to requalify for next year’s Copa Libertadores.
