Rosario deservedly earn a last gasp draw against Arsenal

The two newly promoted who have been finding things a little tough since arriving back in the Primera earned themselves deserved draws yesterday. Rosario Central have been pretty awful of late and when they went a goal behind after only 6 minutes at home to Arsenal things didn’t look look like improving. The omens were not good as it was ex-Central player, Jonatan Gomez who put Arsenal in front when he converted Julio Furch’s cutback. To make matters worse, Arsenal had not conceded an away goal for 360 minutes. However, a spirited second half performance was an encouraging sign for Central, even if it took until stoppage time for Sebastian Abreu to bundle in the equaliser. Earlier in the day, Belgrano travelled to Bahia Blanca to face Olimpo resulting in another 1-1 draw. All the action came in the second half, first when Damian Musto and Pier Barros had a little scrap and were both sent off leading to both teams playing with 10 men. Then in the space of 2 minutes, the game produced 2 goals. Ezequiel Cerutti smashed Olimpo in front in the 78th minute and 2 minutes later, Carlos Bueno headed in the equaliser. SEE ALL THE GOALS HERE….

OLIMPO  1 – 1  BELGRANO

ROSARIO CENTRAL  1 – 1  ARSENAL DE SARANDI
