Diego Vera’s brace helped Rafaela to victory over Godoy Cruz

Godoy Cruz produced a wretched performance to drop into the bottom three after a 3-1 defeat to Atletico Rafaela. Diego Ferriera fired Rafaela in front early and Diego Vera’s double either side of half time put Rafaela into an unassailable lead. Martin Palermo’s relegation threatened side manage to claw a goal back through Jorge Curbelo but it was too late.
