Big call, as San Lorenzo are denied a late penalty

After the failings of the sides at the top on Saturday, San Lorenzo had a great chance to capture the Torneo Inicial. However, the 0-0 draw in El Nuevo Gasometro against Estudiantes means that it will all come down to the final day. Lanus also failed to take advantage as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Boca Juniors. Lanus led twice but each time allowed Boca to strike back and so they remain 2 points behind the leaders. River Plate finally managed a win with a narrow 1-0 win over Argentinos Juniors although it should be noted that their solitary goal was a calamitous own goal by Sergio Vittor. Still a wins a win as River fight to not record their worst ever tally. Earlier, Gimnasia defeated Quilmes 3-2 in La Plata. WATCH ALL THE GOALS….
