Ayala sends Lanus into the Copa Libertadores

Lanus confirmed their place in the Copa Libertadores group stage with a 1-0 win over Caracas in La Forteleza. Having won 2-0 in Venezuela, Lanus were expected to qualify and thanks to Paraguayan Victor Ayala’s second half volley, they confirmed that. Lanus join Group 3 and will face Cerro Porteño of Paraguay , O’Higgins of Chile and Deportivo Cali of Colombia.
