Saturday’s three matches in the Primera División were not the best advert for the league as they produced a measly two goals but Colón de Santa Fe will not care in the slightest. They frustrated their title rivals, San Lorenzo in the Nuevo Gasómetro and keeper, Germán Montoya ensured that the score remained goalless. Earlier, the Primera’s bore draw specialists, Tigre did it again. Their latest 0-0 draw coming at home to Godoy Cruz and once again, partly indebted to stopper, Javier Garcia. The result does little to help Godoy Cruz while Tigre now have drawn 6 of their 8 matches. The only goals came in Belgrano, where the home side once again fell behind, only to come back and salvage a point. Olimpo were the visitors and led through David Vega’s 79th minute penalty only for Ezequiel Maggiolo to snatch a late equaliser. Undoubtedly, the game of the day came in the Nacional B where Independiente squandered a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with leaders, Banfield. WATCH ALL THE ACTION HERE….
