Lanús completed their third consecutive victory on Monday night with a 1-0 win over Quilmes. Jorge Pereyra Diaz’s second half header meant that Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s side moved up to just 2 points behind league leaders’ Colón and Estudiantes. Worryingly, for Caruso Lombardi it was Quilmes’ second straight defeat which sees them remaining in the drop zone.
