Lucas Licht celebrates an unbelievable opening goal
Gimnasia went to the top of the table, level on points with River Plate, after a 2-1 win over relegation threatened, All Boys in La Plata. Lucas Licht put Gimnasia in front with a sensational overhead kick and on loan River striker, Gustavo Bou added a second after the break. Jonathan Calleri pulled a goal back for All Boys but the defeat leaves them in a critical position with just 4 games left. To make matters worse, the team just outside the drop zone, Godoy Cruz thrashed Atletico Rafaela to move a little nearer safety. A Juan Eluchans own goal and then second half goals from Julio César Rodríguez and Diego Rodriguez gave Los Mendocinos the vital 3 points.
