Lanús realise just how significant Bolivar’s away goal could be
Considering the difficult task of facing Bolivar in the altitude of La Paz in the Second Leg next week, it was paramount that Lanús took an advantage to Bolivia. Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s side were seconds away from earning the win and an important clean sheet when William Ferreira fired in a superb long range goal to give the visitors a huge advantage. Lanús got off to the perfect start through Oscar Benitez in the 8th minute but unable to build on this, they were ultimately punished and now face an uphill struggle to qualify for the Semi Finals.
