San Lorenzo made certain of their place in the Copa Libertadores Final in La Paz last night despite losing 1-0 to Bolívar. After last week’s thumping five-goal victory, it would have taken the mother of all comebacks for San Lorenzo to throw it away and as expected that didn’t happen. For the first time in their history, San Lorenzo will compete for the Copa Libertadores and interestingly the Final against Nacional is the first time that the two lowest seeds from the knockout stages have reached the Final.
