Belief continues to grow in the blue half of Avellaneda after Racing Club defeated newly crowned Copa Libertadores champions, San Lorenzo in El Cilindro. Luciano Lollo’s header in first half stoppage time gave Racing the lead and despite Gabriel Hauche’s sending off ten minutes from full time, Facundo Castillón added a second in injury time. Later, in El Monumental, River Plate continued Rosario Central‘s wretched run against the current champions with a 2-0 win. A first half Teó Gutiérrez goal and a superb first River goal for Leonardo Pisculichi gave Marcelo Gallardo his first win of the season. Finally in Córdoba, Boca Juniors snatched a last gasp win against Belgrano thanks to Emmanuel Gigliotti’s 93rd minute header. Belgrano will feel a little aggrieved after having two penalty claims turned down earlier.

I’m next month in Buenos Aires and would like to see boca against Racing Avellaneda at 14.09. . These my question: Does one get tickets on game yet, or should be ordered in advance online? Is there anything else to consider?
Getting tickets for La Bombonera is always a little tricky, even more so for a big game like Racing.
You have two options really: one is to buy from a tout near the ground but there is a fair risk that it will be a fake and its a little dangerous.
the other option is to go through a tour company – I can give you some contacts for this who might be able to help. Obviously it is more expensive but is far more secure.
Hope that is vaguely helpful – let me know if you need anything
