Tata Martino held his first training session ahead of this evening’s friendly against Germany in Düsseldorf and in the absence of several first team players, it would seem that Tottenham’s Erik Lamela will be given the opportunity to showcase his talents for La Selección. Martino is likely to field a 4-3-3 with Lamela making up an attacking trio with Sergio Agüero and Ángel di María after injuries to Lionel Messi and Gonzalo Higuaín.

The side to face Germany will be: Sergio Romero; Pablo Zabaleta, Federico Fernández, Martín Demichelis, Marcos Rojo; Enzo Pérez, Javier Mascherano, Lucas Biglia; Erik Lamela, Sergio Agüero, Ángel Di María

The match kicks off at 7:45 pm (UK time) or 3:45 pm (BsAs)
