The Champions League kicked off again this week and there were plenty of Argentines in action. Juan Manuel Iturbe scored his first goal for Roma since his €25 million move in the Giallorossi’s 5-1 demolition of CSKA Moscow. Carlos Tevez scored twice to give Juventus a winning start against Malmo while Lionel Messi and Barcelona were somewhat underwhelming in their narrow 1-0 win against Apoel Nicosia. There was also a victorious return to Portugal for Ezequiel Garay as his Zenit side outgunned the Argentine influenced Benfica side by two goals to nil.
