San Lorenzo‘s inconsistency reared it’s head once more as El Ciclón were defeated 2-0 by Tigre in Bajo Flores. Defensive mistakes were punished by Gustavo Alfaro’s side either side of half time, Lucas Wilchez was the first to profit on the half hour mark and with a shade over 10 minutes remaining, Sebastian Rincón jinked onto his right foot before curling a superb finish beyond Sebastián Torrico. Belgrano came from behind twice to claim a draw with Banfield but remain winless on the road. Santiago Salcedo put Banfield in front from the penalty spot only for Jorge Velázquez to equalise minutes after the break. 18-year-old Enzo Trinidad fired Banfield into the lead once more but in the 80th minute some rash goalkeeping by Gaspar Servio allowed Emiliano Rigoni to tap into an empty net. Finally, Defensa y Justicia claimed a first home victory of the season with a 2-1 win over Arsenal. Ramiro Carrera’s volley put Arsenal in front but a Brian Fernández penalty was followed shortly by Emiliano Tellechea close range finish which proved enough for the win.
Banfield 2 – 2 Belgrano
San Lorenzo 0 – 2 Tigre
Defensa y Justicia 2 – 1 Arsenal de Sarandí
