Gustavo Alfaro’s unbeaten start to life as Tigre boss came to an end yesterday evening in Mendoza as Godoy Cruz fought back from 3-1 down with a little over 20 minutes remaining to stun the resurgent Matadores. Carlos Luna had scored twice in the first half and when Leandro Garate dashed beyond two Godoy Cruz defenders to make it 3-1 it appeared the winning streak would continue. However, Ecuadorian, Jaime Ayovi added his second before two sweetly struck long range efforts from Gozalo Cabrera and Diego Rodriguez in stoppage time stole the points for the home side.
