With the scenes from Albania and Serbia’s Euro Qualifier still fresh in the memory, Argentina’s third-tier, the Torneo Argentina B witnessed it’s very own version as a mass brawl erupted in the clásico between Deportivo Roca and Club Cipolletti in Río Negro Province. With away side, Cipoletti leading midway through the second half, a fairly innocuous looking yellow card challenge sparked a 22-man mass brawl. Marcos Lamolla and Fernando Fernandez from either side were both sent off in the initial incident before Lamolla ran the length of the field to attack Fernandez. This escalated to a full-scale brawl between all the players and referee Facundo Espinosa allegedly issued a further 10 red cards in the process before calling the match off.
