If you have ever lost luggage while taking a flight then perhaps you will sympathise with the squad of Boca Juniors, who have reported several items of clothing have been stolen from their bags while travelling to Asunción for their Copa Sudamericana second leg against Cerro Porteño.

Club Secretary, César Martucci told ESPN: “We had a difficulty. They found a bag open and it was missing players’ clothing. It was training clothing.”

“We do not know if it was in Buenos Aires or Asunción. It has not affected us for tomorrow.”

Boca defend a 1-0 lead from the first leg ahead of a potential clash with River Plate in the Semi Final.

Boca play Cerro Porteño this evening in Paraguay while River host Estudiantes. Last night in the other Quarter Finals, Atlético Nacional defeated Universidad César Vallejo and São Paulo beat Emelec to set up the other Semi Final tie.
