One person has been killed at least 5 seriously injured and 50 arrested after a battle between two rival factions of Almirante Brown’s barra bravas. One and a half hours before Almirante’s Primera B Metropolitana home match against Estudiantes de Buenos Aires a confrontation occured close to the stadium, at the juntion of Route 3 and José Ignacio Rucci. The clash was between two of Almirante’s four rival barras supposedly over the allocation of tickets to the match and several gunshots were fired. The match has been suspended in light of the death and the several people being treated in the nearby Hospital Paroissien.
