They might only have had the support of around 250 people in Junín but Unión de Mar del Plata celebrated promotion to the Nacional B for the first time with a 1-0 win over Tallares de Córdoba. The wonderfully named Joel Amoroso scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half and lifted Unión to their highest ever status in Argentine football.
