Unión de Santa Fe became the first side to guarantee their promotion from the Nacional B to the 30-team Primera in 2015 with a 2-0 win over Temperley on Saturday afternoon. Goals from Claudio Guerra and Lucas Gamba gave Unión an unassailable lead over sixth placed Atlético Tucumán and so they celebrated their seventh promotion to the top flight.

Elsewhere in Group B, Huracán clawed their way back into the promotion places with a 1-0 win over Crucero del Norte and Independiente Rivadavia defeated fellow strugglers, All Boys.

In Group A, Néstor Gorosito’s honeymoon period ended as Argentinos Juniors tasted defeat for the first time under their new boss. The 1-0 defeat away to rivals, Aldosivi leaves Los Bichos in a precarious position, currently occupying the fifth and final promotion spot but with Aldosivi and Boca Unidos just a point behind with a game in hand.

Unión  2 – 0  Temperley
