Southampton striker Osvaldo’s Boca dream may ALREADY be over

Signing Daniel Osvaldo poses a risk for any club, after all, there is a good reason the 29-year-old has played for eleven different clubs since making his Huracán debut in 2005. He may however, have outdone even himself this time after it is reported his “dream” loan move to Boca Juniors is already in doubt after about two weeks with the club and still yet to play a single minute.

Osvaldo is said to have instigated a party at the team hotel over the weekend, when Boca defeated Temperley, and was caught by manager, Rodolfo Arruabarrena sneaking women into the building.

Argentine tabloid, Crónica released the details of the apparent party and has said that Arruabarrena and Boca president, Daniel Angelici have argued over what to do with the higest-earner at the club. While Osvaldo represented something of a coup for an Argentine club there is already talk of sending him back to Europe.

Arruabarrena apparently caught Osvaldo, along with Juan Manuel Martinez, Agustín Orión, Leandro Marín and Jonathan Calleri sneaking the girls in but also caught Juan Manuel Martinez “with” one of the said women in the room of Boca fitness coach, Pablo Santella.

Osvaldo was supposed to make his debut in La Bombonera tonight with Boca playing Montevideo Wanderers in the Copa Libertadores but that is very much in doubt now.

Anyone who has paid any attention to the career of Dani Osvaldo probably wondered how long it would take for this latest move to fall apart. If he does indeed end up going back to Southampton, it is very difficult to see where he could go next?
