This Friday in Milan, the premiere of “Capitano da Buenos Aires” takes place, a film based on the Inter and Argentina defender, Javier Zanetti. Having left Banfield in 1995, Zanetti went on to play over 600 times for Inter Milan over the next twenty years and won five scudetto titles, four coppa Italias, one UEFA cup and one Champions League.

It is little wonder that a film on such a decorated and much loved character, features interviews with several teammates, along with Lionel Messi, Roberto Baggio and José Mourinho.

Zanetti said: “The film includes many moments of my life that were very important. It is a beautiful and long journey throughout my career, defending the colours of Inter and Argetina. Premiering in Milan, but I hope to very soon reach Buenos Aires.”
