Rosario Central’s remarkable start to 2015 under Eduardo Coudet continued on Monday afternoon as Marco Ruben netted his fifth of the season to give them victory over Temperley and maintain their 100% record. Reduced to ten men on the stroke of half time after José Luis Fernández was needlessly booked twice in the space of thirty seconds, it appeared as though Central’s run might come to an end. However, Coudet’s sturdy defence and patient possession football was rewarded in the 66th minute when Ruben slid the ball past Federico Crivelli after Franco Cervi’s excellent through-pass. Up next for Coudet’s side is a trip to winless Atletico Rafaela so you would not bet against them making it six in a row.

In Cordoba, Aldosivi picked up their first win of the season with a surprising 1-0 victory over a well below par Belgrano side. After a goalless first half the match came to life barely a minute into the second when Cristian Lema clumsily hacked at Gastón Díaz allowing the same player to give the visitors the lead from the penalty spot. Minutes later Sebastián Prediger was sent off for Belgrano after a little touchline spat and in truth Aldosivi should have made the result far more convincing.

Rosario Central  1 – 0  Temperley

Belgrano  0 – 1  Aldosivi
