It is safe to say that Pedro Troglio was more than a little pleased to see his Gimnasia side snatch their first three points of 2015 after Ignacio Fernández’s 95th minute goal condemned Nueva Chicago to a third defeat of the season. The 49-year-old coach has seen his position come under threat after a poor start to the season and defeat in the clásico but by his own admission he ‘regrets reacting like an idiot’ in the aftermath of the match winner. Álvaro Fernández had poked El Lobo in front early in the second half but when Lucas Aveldaño deflected strike levelled the scores late on, it looked as though the wait for a first win for Gimnasia would go on. However, deep into injury time Ignacio Fernández produced a measured, curled effort from just outside the penalty area and as it nestled in the bottom corner, Troglio erupted.
