Temperley celebrated their first victory in the Primera since the opening day win over Banfield by claiming a deserved three points againt Colón and as has been the case throughout the season so far, Fabián Sambueza proved to be the key. The 26-year-old, younger brother of Club América star Rubens opened the scoring after just three minutes and after half an hour Juan Dinenno added a second from close range. Colón pulled a goal back through Cristian Llama’s penalty with fifteen minutes remaining but Los Rojinegros were unable to stage a comeback.

Earlier in Garupá two of the Primera’s least attractive sides met and battled out a 1-1 draw. Last time out in Misiones, Crucero del Norte earned their first victory in the top flight and on Friday evening they were pitted against an Atlético Rafaela side still without a win and without a manager after Roberto Sensini was fired after last weekend’s draw. There was little improvement from La Crema and it took a late Gabriel Morales goal to cancel out Ernesto Álvarez’s second half opener. A fourth consecutive draw for Rafaela does little to improve their position while Crucero remain relegation favourites.

Crucero del Norte  1 – 1  Atlético Rafaela

Temperley  2 – 1  Colón
