San Lorenzo remain top of the Primera but were unable to defeat Belgrano in the Nuevo Gasómetro on an evening where the goalkeepers were on top. Sebastián Torrico kept Los Cuervos level when he stopped Chiqui Pérez’s first half penalty and Juan Olave responded at the other end with a series of good stops to prevent the home side from taking the lead. San Lorenzo came closest in the second half and hit the woodwork twice but the game ended goalless meaning River can jump to the summit if they win their games in hand.

Lanús produced something of an improved performance but were still unable to pick up all three points against Temperley. After a fairly drab first half performance the game burst into life two minutes after the break with Maxi Velázquez netting a contender for goal of the season for Lanús. Víctor Ayala floated a corner back to Velázquez some 25 yards out and the defender struck a perfectly executed left-foot volley into the top corner that neither the goalkeeper or the defender on the goalline could keep out. However, with the celebrations barely over, Temperley were level when Gabriel Ezparza pounced on Fernando Monetti’s fumble and poked in the equaliser.

Earlier in Santa Fe, Huracán managed to claim a point away to Colón despite falling behind to Cristian Llama’s breakaway goal before half time. David Distéfano grabbed the equaliser after being played in by Daniel Montenegro and although Colón had goalkeeper Jorge Broun sent off in comical fashion late-on, neither side could muster a winner.

Colón  1 – 1  Huracán

Temperley  1 – 1  Lanús

San Lorenzo  0 – 0  Belgrano
