Boca Juniors’ US tour continued last night in Florida and Rodolfo Arruabarrena’s side cruised to victory once more, this time with a 3-0 win over Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Jonathan Calleri is unlikely to still be with the club once the season begins but it has not stopped the 21-year-old striker from finding the night in the USA. Yesterday evening it took just two minutes for Calleri to pounce on a defensive error and smash an unstoppable finish past Strikers keeper Lionel Brown. After the break, Alexis Rolín volleyed Boca two in front and late on Cristian Pavón added a third after a fine run. Los Xeniezes now travel to Costa Rica for their final friendly against Saprissa before the second half of the season commences.
