The rearranged fixture from last week following the death of Diego Barisone between his former club Lanús and San Martín took place last night and it took an unbelievable strike by Eric Aparicio to snatch a point for the home side. Lanús had been the better side during the opening 45 minutes and took the lead early thanks to the head of Diego Braghieri but San Martín improved after the break and had it not been for the form of Matías Ibáñez they might have been level sooner. When the goal did come the goalkeeper could do little as Eric Aparicio produced a devilishly dipping shot from 35 yards out which nestled into the top corner. The point leaves both sides nestled firmly in midtable.
