Monday night’s football was hardly a couple of fixtures likely to excite the neutral Argentine football fan but it proved to be an excellent evening for Ariel Holan and Defensa y Justicia as they ran out comfortable 4-0 winners against Aldosivi. Emiliano Tellechea was the beneficiary of some poor goalkeeping by Pablo Campodónico to tap the home side in front and in the second half Aldosivi fell apart. Tellechea doubled the lead and minutes later Ciro Rius added a third, before Juan Sánchez Sotelo wrapped up the points from the penalty spot.
The final match of round 21 was a forgettable one. Sarmiento played most of the second half with ten men after having Dardo Miloc sent off but Temperley were still unable to take advantage or register a shot on target.
