A largely reserve River Plate side ended their recent run of poor results in Bahía Blanca against Olimpo thanks to a wonderful headed goal by Leonardo Pisculichi midway through the second half. Despite any hopes of finishing in the top two are gone for Marcelo Gallardo’s side the result is a timely boost ahead of their final Copa Libertadores group game and next weekend’s superclásico.
