Andrés D’Alessandro netted his first goal since returning to Internacional with a sensational volley in the 1-1 draw against Caxias.

Following a successful loan spell with boyhood club River Plate, D’Alessandro returned to Internacional at the end of the year following the club’s relegation.

No one can deny Andrés D’Alessandro’s love for River Plate and the club’s reciprocal affection but the 35-year-old is also adored in Porto Alegre and has a huge task ahead to ensure that Inter get back to the top flight.
