
Sergio Agüero’s sensational early season form continued at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon as the prolific Argentinian scored a hat-trick in Manchester City’s 6-0 win over Watford.
Pep Guardiola’s have hit an ominous patch of form for the rest of the Premier League and after scoring fifteen goals in their last three matches are now top of the table.
Watford were previously unbeaten this season but City’s lethal attack inflicted the Hornet’s heaviest ever defeat in the top flight.

Agüero headed in from a Kevin de Bruyne free kick to break the deadlock and soon after tapped in from close range for his 200th career goal in European top-flight matches.

With City cruising, Agüero turned provider to slip in Gabriel Jesus for the third and while Watford came out fighting in the second half, their resistance was soon squashed when Nicolás Otamendi climbed to head in number four.

Ten minutes from time and Agüero completed his hat-trick with the best of the afternoon. A throw-back to the Kun of old, the forward sliced through the Watford defence, darting past three challenges to slot the ball past goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes before Raheem Sterling completed the rout from the penalty spot.
