History

Lanus was formed in 1915 with the merger of two local sides: Lanus United and Club El Progreso. Located in the South of Buenos Aires, Lanus have one championship to their name. In 2007 Lanus claimed the Apertura, confirming the trophy with a 1-1 in La Bombonera.
