In the final game of the second round Arsenal de Sarandi hosted Atletico Rafaela. Rafaela, having beaten Racing convincingly in the first round, would have been confident going into this game and knew that a win could have seen them go top. Arsenal, on the other hand, having snatched a late draw last week would have been hoping that their first home game of the season could see them claim their first three points. The game didn’t lack scoring opportunities but neither team were able to capitalise and there were a host of missed chances. However, Rafaela will be the happier of the two teams in maintaining an unbeaten start to the season. So, at the end of round two Lanus and River lead the way with Atletico Rafaela just behind and still unbeaten. The tables can be found here (for what it’s worth after just two games)…
