Independiente’s nightmare continues as pressure on Brindisi grows

Independiente suffered another defeat in the Nacional B yesterday at the hands of Atletico Tucuman as their bid to win promotion straight back to the Primera looks in real doubt. Without a win since their relegation it appears that Avellaneda is not the safest place to be a manager at the moment. With Racing set to axe Luis Zubeldia, it seems Miguel Brindisi’s short spell in charge might be over too. Defensa y Justicia lead the way in the Nacional B with a 100% record but Independiente need to improve drastically if they are to fight their way back into contention.
