Manchester City look to complete the deal for Malaga goalkeeper, Willy Caballero with the Argentine stopper having a medical on Monday ahead of a proposed €8 million transfer. The move may also see new signing, Bruno Zuculini move on loan to Malaga.
Manuel Pellegrini remained a fan of Caballero since working together at Malaga and it is thought the Chilean has doubts over Joe Hart and has already sold Costel Pantilimon to Sunderland.
Caballero has been superb in his time in Spain and was unfortunate to be overlooked by Alejandro Sabella for Argentina. However, his performances have not gone unnoticed by Pellegrini and the €8 million move could be completed later today.
As part of the move, City may send young Argentine midfielder, Bruno Zuculini on loan to Malaga. Zuculini only signed a deal with Manchester City last week until 2019 but with first team opportunities limited the 21-year-old looks certain to move on loan.
Malaga could be a good move for the youngster and provide a sweetner for the Spanish side in losing their prized asset in Caballero.
