Racing Club certainly took full advantage of the decision to play the remaining 33 minutes of their suspended match against Boca Juniors in La Bombonera last night. Trailing one-nil from the 57 minutes that they did play last weekend, the teams reemerged to a wet but now playable pitch and Racing striker, Gustavo Bou struck twice to turn the match. Later in Sarandí, Arsenal managed to at least put the brakes on River Plate‘s apparent sweep to the title with a hard fought 1-1 draw. Hugo Nervo put Arsenal in front five minutes after the break but the lead lasted less than a minute as Leonardo Pisculichi pounced on a rebound to maintain River’s unbeaten start to the season.
