Arsenal managed to claim their first point outside of Sarandí last night with a 1-1 draw in Victoria against Tigre. The home side themselves were in need of a decent result after the 4-3 loss against Godoy Cruz which ended Gustavo Alfaro’s 100% start as manager. Ramiro Carrera gave Martin Palermo’s side the lead after half time but Juan Carlos Blengio headed in Sebastián Rincón’s cross after 77 minutes. The point leaves both sides in mid-table but the upturn in Tigre’s fortune since Alfaro took over is impressive.
