Olimpo’s search for an away win this season goes on after they were well beaten by Matías Almeyda’s Banfield in the Estadio Florencio Solá on Friday night. Ricardo Noir’s pace on the right provided the catalyst for the victory as he created the first two goals, converted by Nahuel Yeri and Walter Erviti either side of half time. Nicolás Bertolo curled in a third with 20 minutes remaining to wrap up a straight-forward three points for Banfield, who have found wins hard to come by since their promotion. The result leaves Banfield up in twelfth while Olimpo are kept off the bottom only by Quilmes.
