Whilst Boca Juniors have been actively strengthening their defence, they have made no secret of their desire to add a new number 10 to the squad. First choice, Nicolás Lodeiro and second choice, Gastón Ramírez appear to be out of reach and now Los Xeneizes have switched attention to Fulham’s Costa Rican attacker, Bryan Ruiz.
This also remains some way off with the championship side demanding in the region of $6 million which is considerably more than Boca would be able to pay. Carlos Arruabarrena is quietly putting together a decent looking side and if they could add a player of Ruiz’s quality to the attack, 2015 would look to be an improvement on recent seasons.
