Life after Marcelo Bielsa has started pretty well for Marseille. One week after an opening day defeat to Reims which prompted El Loco’s departure, Marseille enjoyed an emphatic victory against Troyes in the Stade Velodrome as new boss, Míchel celebrated the perfect start to life in the south of France. The 6-0 scoreline was impressive enough, however little resistance Troyes provided, but 21-year-old Lucas Ocampos provided the highlight with a spectacular bicycle kick just after the hour mark. It is an important year for Ocampos after he fell down the pecking order at Monaco and was unable to showcase his undoubted ability on such a regular basis. Still only 21, a good season in Ligue 1 and Ocampos could find himself back in contention for the national team.
