The deal may have been finalised some months ago but Paris Saint Germain today confirmed the signing of talented playmaker Giovani Lo Celso from Rosario Central.
The 20-year-old has been a revelation since breaking into the Central team over the past year and despite intense interest from several european clubs, PSG have won the race for his signature.
Lo Celso has signed a five-year deal with the French champions but will remain with Central on loan until the end of the year.

It is understood that the fee is around €10 million with a possible further €4m in bonuses, a figure which appears incredibly low considering the market.
Speaking to the PSG official website, Lo Celso said, “I am very excited to have signed for PSG.”
“I am going to join one of the biggest clubs in Europe, with a squad full of great players, including my compatriots Ángel Di María and Javier Pastore. I hope to follow in their footsteps and to become an important player for PSG.
“I would like to thank PSG for the faith shown in me and my former club Rosario for helping me fulfil my dream of becoming a professional footballer.”
Lo Celso is currently with the Argentina Olympic squad and with the recent withdrawal of Manuel Lanzini may take an even more important role in Julio Olarticoechea’s side.
The 20-year-old was number seven in our Top 50 Argentine youngsters recently.
