History
Godoy Cruz were formed by a group of friends in 1921 and although from the tiny city of Godoy Cruz the club now play their games in Mendoza’s Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, which was built for the 1978 World Cup.
Having won a number of regional championships, Godoy Cruz have not won a top flight national trophy.
