Álvaro Fernández’s free header midway through the second half was enough to see off Racing and crank up the pressure once more. The locals made their feelings pretty clear to the players and coach, Mostaza Merlo at full time. Godoy Cruz picked up a valuable 3 points away to Belgrano with goals from Facundo Castillón and a superb Leandro Grimi free kick either side of Jorge Velázquez’s strike to move above Quilmes and out of the bottom 3. All Boys salvaged a point in Floresta against Arsenal when truthfully all 3 were probably needed. New Arsenal boss, Martin Palermo was watching from the stands and watched his side take the lead during the second half when Mariano Echeverría smashed in from close range. Arsenal looked to be heading for a rare Primera victory but Leonel Di Plácido rifled in a late equaliser for All Boys. With just 5 games remaining All Boys need wins and fast.
