Under pressure San Lorenzo boss, Pablo Guede perhaps had his bags packed after 28 minutes when former player Sebastián Luna put Belgrano two-nil up in the Nuevo Gasómetro. In desperate need of a reaction, the former Palestino boss got just that from his players and before the break goals from Sebastián Blanco and Ezequiel Cerutti had brought the home side level. Fernando Belluschi’s deflected second half strike completed the comeback and Los Cuervos claimed their first league win in five matches.

Newell’s were once again unable to hold on for all three points after Aldosivi scored a second half equaliser in Rosario to force La Lepra to settle for a third consecutive draw. Defender Nehuén Paz had given the home side the lead with a smartly taken finish but with a little over fifteen minutes of the match remaining, a costly defensive lapse allowed Neri Bandiera to score and earn a point for El Tiburón.

Argentinos Juniors’ wretched run of form continued in San Juan after Javier Toledo scored in both halves to give San Martín a third victory in their last four matches. Los Bichos remain the only Primera side still winless and despite not deserving to be on the end of a two-goal loss, it is a worrying sixth defeat of the season.

San Lorenzo  3 – 2  Belgrano

Newell’s Old Boys  1 – 1  Aldosivi

San Martín  2 – 0  Argentinos Juniors
