January 31:

A reported Boca target and former Argentina international Nicolás Gaitán has joined Lille after his short stint in MLS.

Boca Juniors finalised the deal for Peruvian defender Carlos Zambrano to join.

After a lengthy delay Newell’s Old Boys confirmed the signing of Sebastián Palacios. The deal had to be agreed between Independiente and Pachuca with El Rojo taking priority over the sale of Newell’s pair Aníbal Moreno and Jerónimo Cacciabue. Independiente will have the first chance to match any bids received. 

Defensa y Justicia bring in Nicolás Leguizamón from Colón.

January 30:

Estudiantes confirm that Marcos Rojo is returning to the club on a six-month loan deal from Manchester United.

Inter Miami finally make their signing of defender Nicolás Figal from Independiente official.

Having already added Brian Fernández, Colón bring in more attacking reinforcements in their bid to avoid relegation as former Boca striker Lucas Viatri arrives from Peñarol.

January 26:

Matías Kranevitter’s time in Russia with Zenit St. Petersburg comes to an end as the midfielder joins Liga MX club Monterrey.

January 25:

Colombian left back Mauricio Duarte joins Defensa y Justicia from Cúcuta Deportivo.

January 24:

It’s been known for weeks but centre-back Alejandro Donatti signs for San Lorenzo.

A move to Italy fell through but Independiente have managed to offload Francisco Pizzini in the end with Defensa y Justicia taking the forward on loan.

Huracán haven’t been able to make any signings in this window but pick up full-back Leandro Grimi on a free transfer.

After leaving the club in 2017 Ecuadorian forward Jaime Ayoví has returned to Mendoza to sign for Godoy Cruz.

Banfield add to their attacking options with Paraguayan striker Pablo Velázquez and Fabián Bordagaray.

Rosario Central also add former Independiente right-back Damián Martínez from Unión.

January 23:

Cristian Chavez will join Central Cordoba on six-month loan from Independiente.

While still owned by Racing, Kevin Gutierrez begins a new loan with Rosario Central after two recent loans with Gimnasia and Godoy Cruz.

The big news that all River Plate supporters were waiting for – Nacho Fernández signs a contract extension until 2023.

Paolo Goltz leaves Boca Juniors to link up with Diego Maradona at Gimnasia.

Matias Carruzo signs with Argentinos Juniors on a free move after leaving Rosario Central.

Unión confirm that Colombian defender Yeimar Gómez Andrada is heading to MLS with Seattle Sounders executing the centre-back’s release clause.

January 22:

Vélez finally confirm the signing of Ricardo Centurión.

January 20:

San Lorenzo were looking for attacking reinforcements and have brought in Nicolás Fernández from Defensa y Justicia.

Having left for Greek club PAOK in 2017, goalkeeper Rodrigo Rey returns to Godoy Cruz.

After the sale of Diego Rodríguez and the loss of Raúl Loaiza to long-term injury, Defensa y Justicia needed to bolster the midfielder and they have done so by bringing Nelson Acevedo back to the club.

Atlético Tucumán bring in their first reinforcement of the window – former Arsenal and Lanús midfielder Nicolás Aguirre.

January 17:

Boca Juniors finally confirm the return of midfielder Pol Fernández.

Diego Maradona gets a new number nine to hopefully fire Gimnasia to safety. Paraguayan interntional Lucas Barrios arrives from Huracán.

San Lorenzo announce the return of goalkeeper Fernando Monetti.

Gimnasia confirm the loan signing of Maxi Cuadra from Racing Club.

January 16:

With rumours that Leonel Di Placido is leaving, Lanús have signed right-back Nicolás Morgantini from Platense.

January 15:

Former River Plate playmaker Mauro Diaz will return to Argentina and join Estudiantes after 5 years in MLS and 2 years in the United Arab Emirates with Shabab Al-Ahli.

January 14:

Guido Rodríguez earns his European move as the midfielder leaves Club América for Real Betis.

Ignacio Pussetto switches Udinese for Watford.

Defender Joaquín Laso completes move to Rosario Central.

January 13:

Former Argentina under-20 international Leonardo Suárez has left Villarreal and signed for Club América.

Godoy Cruz complete a double swoop for Christian Almeida and Marcelo Herrera.
